CHRISTOPHER JORDAN DALEY

Christopher Jordan Daley of Caledonia, Minn., passed away at home on Sept. 7, 2026, surrounded by the love of his mother Mary Daley and his uncle Paul Weichert. Christopher will be remembered for his gentle soul, quiet strength, enduring patience and pure heart. With big brown eyes and a head full of matching curls, Christopher came into this world on January 11, 1985, just minutes before his twin brother Anthony. He was a sweet little boy with a beautiful crimson smile and joyful disposition, winning the hearts of everyone around him. As a toddler, Christopher's palate was quite advanced. He loved BLTs, but only if they resided on big brother Dan's plate, who so generously shared them with Christopher and his twin Anthony. Lori and Kelly, his older sisters and babysitters, recall how much fun Christopher was to take care of, spending hours at the Caledonia pool, playing in the yard, whirring around on the family’s go-cart and using the tape recorder to capture his adorable voice. In elementary and middle school, Christopher became a Mario Kart pro and was often found playing Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles with his brothers Anthony and Ryan. Christopher always looked forward to riding in father Leo’s blue pickup to Kwik Trip for weekly candy runs, and in the summers, he enjoyed camping with his dad and his brothers in Brownsville by the river. Christopher loved playing soccer and golf and learned some great skills on the pitch from his brother Chad and on the tee box from his sister Rebecca and brother Ryan. He played well into his adulthood and eventually, the student surpassed his teachers. After graduating from Caledonia High School, Christopher attended Madison Area Technical College. A superfan of all sports, he had a knack for remembering and analyzing all the stats from ESPN SportsCenter, making him a great fantasy football strategist and trivia whiz. Christopher also was a superfan of his mom’s cooking – especially her famous Tater Tot Hotdish. The two shared a special relationship, enjoying movies together, playing cards, savoring steak burritos at Sol Agave and catching Vikings, Twins and Timberwolves games on Sundays. Over the past few years, Christopher enjoyed road trips to visit his sister Rebecca and her family in North Dakota, exploring the “Wild West”— bison and all. Christopher was preceded in death by his father Leo Daley, his nephew Dylan Ross and his grandparents Lawrence and Merrial Daley and Lester and Leona Weichert. He is survived by his loving mother, Mary; his siblings and their families: Dan and Schawn Daley, including Savanna (Rowan, Zyla), Luke and Leigh (Layla, Leora), Erik (Elliana, Evan), Sage and Nathan (Ezra, Jane, Zoey) and Ally (Elliot, Violet); Lori Ross and partner Jay Erb, including Tyler and his wife Lindsay, Sydney and Cayden; Kelly and Marvin Puspoki (Isaac, Bella); Chad Daley; Rebecca and Ryan Christenson (Colton, Celia, Nolan, Nicklas); Ryan Daley and Amber Donecker (Gaian, Luna); and Anthony Daley (Asher, Ava). Christopher’s wake will be held on Friday, Sept. 18, from 4 to 7 p.m. at Holy Family Hall next to St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Caledonia. Visitation will also take place on Saturday, Sept. 19 at 10 a.m. at Holy Family Hall, the family will proceed to the church at 10:45 am, where an eulogy will be given and a Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11 am at the church.
