TODD BARI HUFF

Todd Bari Huff, age 67, passed away peacefully at his home on Sunday, January 21st following a short bout with cancer. He was surrounded by his loving family. Todd was born on December 7, 1956 to Ward and Joan (Cook) Huff in Dawson, MN. The Huff family moved to Rushford, and from there to Caledonia when Todd was in the 6th grade. He graduated from Caledonia High School and attended St. Thomas College for a year. He spent many years living in the Seattle, WA area and in Connecticut before moving back to Minneapolis, MN to be with his high school sweetheart, Theresa Weichert. Todd and Theresa married on August 17, 2002. They lived in Minneapolis until 2018 and then moved back to Caledonia to be closer to family. Todd enjoyed hunting with the Weichert group and loved telling stories about how he missed the big buck! Camping and hunting with his buddy, Keith, always provided for a good story. Time spent with his sister, Staci, in Menomonie always held a special place in his heart, as well as the fun spirited competitions he had with his sister, Jody, involving music trivia and sports. He fancied himself a pool shark and attended many concerts as he loved music. He knew who was on guitar or drums and was always asking, ‘Honey, who sings this?” Most times, it was ‘The Who’ so I could get it right! He enjoyed watching all sports but loved the Twins and Vikings. He would always say that the Twins were going to go 163-0! Todd is survived by his wife, Theresa; his mother Joan; sisters Jody Huff and Staci Boehmer (Steve): daughter Melissa Huff (Frank Smith); grand-daughter Serra Huff (Chris); great grand-daughter Celeste; many brother/sister inlaws; nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, aunts and uncles, and his dear friend Lorin Black (Wayne Siniscala). He is preceded in death by his father, Ward, and many cherished relatives. Celebration of Life for Todd Huff on Sunday, April 28th at the Four Seasons Community Center, Caledonia, MN, from 1-4 PM. Please join us in wearing hunting, Seattle, or MN sports themed apparel, tie dye or concert tee shirts in memory of Todd, all of his favorites!
