Died May 13, 2018

Arden George Krueger Jr., 63, a lifelong resident of Caledonia, passed away May 13th, 2018 peacefully at home, in his favorite chair, watching golf.  He leaves behind Diane Schulze, his lifelong partner of 41 years, and two daughters; Kelly Meyer (Justin) and Kayla Krueger, the joys of his life. “Papa” loved spending time with the new loves of his life, grandsons Traeden and Rylan.

Ardy is the son of Arden, Sr. and Mary “Irene” Krueger.  He was preceded in death by his mother (“Maggie”) and his sister Karen.  He is survived by his father and siblings: Kate Ranzenberger (Tom), Donna Krueger (Jeff Drietz), Doris Loeffler (Wayne Myhre) and family connections of sister/brother in-laws of Shirley Schulze, Robert Schulze (Judy), Ken Schulze (Dorothy Kruse), Lois Klein (Merlin), Mary Popp, Leigh Schulze Goetzinger, and many nieces and nephews. Deceased family include: Darlene Mickelberg (Richard), Richard Popp, Richard, Larry, and Roger Schulze and Jacqueline Klein.

Jr. was a self-employed carpenter, meticulous in his work, with a very broad base of knowledge.  He built his family a new home which was one of his proudest accomplishments.  He had a great sense of humor and a detailed memory.  When “the girls” were in sports, he never missed a game, ever!  When not spending time with the grandkids, he enjoyed watching a variety of sports including golf, tennis, college basketball, Twins, Vikings, and even cars that went around and around a track.  His sweet corn business operated every season with his signature white tent and red van parked at his sister’s.  He was a man who always did for others, including 20+ years of involvement with Freeburg St. Nicholas Cemetery.

Per family’s wishes, there will be a private family memorial service and internment at St. Nicholas.  Memorials are preferred in lieu of flowers.
