KAREN KAY HOSCHEIT
July 9,1946 - March 14, 2018

 Karen Kay Hoscheit, 71, of Caledonia, died peacefully, Wednesday, March 14, 2018 at Caledonia Care and Rehab. She was born July 9,1946 in La Crosse, WI to Walter C. and Irene (Nolte) Gardner. She was a graduate of Luther High School and LaCrosse Beauty School. On July 1, 1967 she married Robert Hoscheit, at St. Joseph the Workman Cathedral in La Crosse and together they farmed outside of Caledonia. 

Karen enjoyed reading, baking for others, knitting, and playing cards with family and friends. She was an active volunteer at St. Mary's School and in her younger years she enjoyed dancing. Her greatest love was her grandchildren and her great grandson.

She is survived by her husband of 50 years, Robert, of Caledonia; 6 daughters, Amy (Pat) Vogel of Springfield, MN, Paula (Aaron) Augedahl of Brownsville, MN, Wanda (Bill) Green of La Crosse, Brenda (Steve) Feehan of LaCrosse, Melissa Duffrin of Sun Prairie, WI, and Jean (Derek) Potter of Arlington, WI; 13 grandchildren, Sarah (Brennen) Boettger, Matt Vogel, Tyler, Bobby and Angie Augedahl, Justin and Lindsey Poston, Kyle and Cody Feehan, Christian and Adrianna Duffrin, Dacota and Xander Potter; a great grandson, Blake Boettger; 2 sisters, Esther (Gary) Wrobel of La Crosse and Debbie (Steve) Rogers of Fondulac, WI; 2 sisters in law, Joan Gardner of La Crosse and Carolyn Gardner of Reno, NV; several special brothers and sisters in law and honorary family members, the Jim and Kathy Houdek Family and Terry and Carol Schuldt Family

She was preceded in death by her parents and 2 brothers, Walter and Harry Gardner.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11 amMonday, March 19, at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Caledonia. Fr. Matt Fasnacht will officiate and burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Caledonia. Visitation will be from 3-7 pm Sunday, at St. Mary's Holy Family Hall and also one hour prior to the service at the church on Monday. McCormick Funeral Home, Caledonia is assisting the family.
