Lynn Marie Pohlman, 35, of Caledonia, passed away
Sunday, October 9, 2016, at Gundersen Medical Center, LaCrosse, WI.
Lynn was born July 15, 1981, in La Crosse, to Gene and Elizabeth
(Hammell) Pohlman. She graduated from Caledonia High School in 1999 and attended technical schools in La Crosse and Winona. She worked as a float at Mayo and Gundersen Medical Centers and was recently hired at the Gundersen Clinic in Onalaska.
Lynn loved and enjoyed her children and family. One of their favorite activities was watching movies and eating popcorn together.
She is survived by her fiance, Ronnie Shefelbine; her children,
McKenzie, Paris and Sebastian Shefelbine; siblings, Karin (Shane)
Darling, Karl Pohlman, Allen Pohlman, and Betsy (Alan) Kirchner; her father and mother, Gene and Elizabeth Pohlman, her fiancé’s father, Ronnie Shefelbine, Sr.; and nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Earl and Eleanor Hammell, and Melvin and Lisbeth Pohlman; and her fiancé’s mother, Constance Sue Sand.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11 am on Monday, October 17, at St. Joseph Catholic Church, New Albin, IA. Father John Moser will officiate and burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery, New Albin. Visitation will be from 3-6 pm on Sunday at McCormick Funeral Home, 205 East Main St., Caledonia, where a prayer service will be at 5:30. Visitation will also be from 10-11 am Monday at the church. Memorials may be given to an education fund for Lynn's children.
