Rosine Marie (Stoltz) Bauer, 87, of Caledonia, MN passed away peacefully, on May 21, 2015, surrounded by her loving family. Rosine was born in Caledonia, MN on September 4, 1927 to Joseph and Dorothy (Ellenz) Stoltz. Rosine graduated from Loretto High School. She worked at Flynn & Rippe Law Offices in Caledonia.

On June 4, 1946 she married Vince J. Bauer at St. Peter’s Catholic Church in Caledonia, MN. Vince and Rosine enjoyed 60 years of beautiful marriage. Vince preceded her in death in 2007.

Rosine was a devoted wife, mother, and homemaker who loved farm life. One of her greatest joys was raising her children and spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She had an open-door policy, and there was always room at the table for one more. You were always welcomed with a slice of homemade bread and coffee.

Rosine had many talents and hobbies that kept her busy: sewing, quilting, woodworking, baking, reading, hunting, gardening, feeding squirrels and birds, and just being out in nature. She had a strong devotion to her faith, family, church, and community. She had a servant’s heart and was involved in many bake sales, fundraising projects, and benefits. She was an active member of CCW at St. Mary’s Catholic Church.

Rosine is survived by 13 children, Joe (Janice) of Fayetteville, NC; Tony (Ann); Linda (Dean) King; Larry “Bugman” (Bev); Bonnie (Glenn) Laumb; Karen “Beak” (Merrell “Cobb”) Colsch; Susie (Curt) Goetzinger; Steve “Smiley” (Marcia); Cindy (Phil) Augedahl; Matt (Susan); David “Pollack” (Pam); Ann (Rob) Schmitz; and Jeanette (Mike) Buttell, all of the Caledonia area. She is also survived by 59 grandchildren and 70 great-grandchildren. Rosine is also survived by her brother Leo (Betty) Stoltz and her sister Carol Gavin, as well as Vince’s siblings and in-laws; and many nieces, nephews, relatives, friends and neighbors.

Rosine was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, one daughter-in-law, one grandson,  one great-grandson, one sister, and two brothers-in-law,
