MARY "SHIRLEY MAE INGLETT
August 22, 1935 - December 5, 2014

Shirley Mae Inglett, 79, of Houston, and  formerly of Caledonia, died peacefully surrounded by her family on  Friday, December 5, 2014, at Mayo Health Systems, LaCrosse, WI. She was born August 22, 1935 in Houston, MN to Earl and Myrtle  (Gustafson) Flatten. Shirley graduated from Houston High School in 1953.  She married Milton Inglett March 19, 1954 at Cross of Christ Lutheran  Church, Houston. She was a devoted wife and cared for Milton, especially  during his last 16 years of life, before he died in 1984.

Shirley enjoyed traveling, dancing, flower gardening, crossword puzzles, Farckle, and playing games with her grandchildren. She was a loving  mother,  grandmother and sister. She resided in Caledonia for many years and then  moved back to Houston where she enjoyed her final year with her new  family at Heritage Court. 


She is survived by her 2 sons, Brian (Sally) Inglett of Houston, MN and  Mark (Lisa) Inglett of LaCrescent, MN; grandchildren, Nathan (Ashley)  Snyder, Lucas (Haley), Leah, Doug, Karl, and Jake Inglett; great grand  daughter, Alayna May; special sister, Sharon (Les) Roesner of Blue Eye,  MO; brothers and sisters in law, Lyle (Darlene) Inglett, Kenneth (Kay)  Inglett, Eileen (Dale) Kruse and Margie Inglett; special nieces and  nephews, Kim Erdman, Jill Gibson, Tammy (Bruce)  Nation, Steve (Rose) Sires, Michelle Loken; special cousins Sigrud  (Calvin) Voshart and Karyn Olson; and many more nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Milton, her parents, 3 infant  sons, Terry Lee, Steven Gary, and Randall Alan; a brother, Gerald Flatten; and special friend,  Frank Gerardy. 

Funeral services will be at 10:30 am on Tuesday, December 9, at the  United Methodist Church, 308 N. Kingston, Caledonia. Rev. Mark Bengtson  will officiate and burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Caledonia.  Visitation will be from 3 to 7 pm on Monday at the church and one hour  prior to the service at the church on Tuesday. McCormick Funeral Home,  Caledonia is assisting the family.
