Martin Edward Urbain, 63, of Winona and formerly of Caledonia, died Monday, October 7, 2013
at home after illness. He was born August 16, 1950 in La Crosse, WI to Edward V. and Stella M. (McCarthy) Urbain.

Martin graduated from Caledonia High School and from Winona Vo-Tech School with a degree in Tool and Die.
He retired from many different positions during his 41 year (1971-2012) career at Badger Equipment Co. in Winona.
He was very talented and worked any position asked of him, such as millworker, assembler, welder, maintenance, etc.
He was an avid morel, ginseng, deer and turkey hunter.

Martin was a member of Sacred Heart Cathedral, Winona and St. Mary's Catholic Church, Caledonia.
He also was a member of United Auto Workers,  Aircraft Owners & Pilots Assoc (AOPA)(had a private pilot license), and Winona FOE Eagles Club.

He is survived by his mother and his sister, Helen Urbain.
He was preceded in death by his father.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11 am on Saturday, October 12, at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Caledonia. Father Matt Fasnacht will officiate and burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Caledonia. Visitation will be from 9:30 to 11 am Sat. morning before the service at the church.
