Sharon Kay Esch (Schuldt), 70, of Caledonia, MN passed away Saturday, August 13th, 2011 at Caledonia Care and Rehab, Caledonia, MN.
She was born September 10th, 1940, in New Albin, IA to Harry and Lois (Kumpf) Schuldt. Sharon was a homemaker, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother who was deeply loved by her family and be remembered with many loving memories. She was a member of the United Methodist Church, Caledonia, MN. The family celebrated John and Sharon’s 50th anniversary on August 12th with a family celebration.
She is survived by her husband John Esch of Caledonia, MN, 4 daughters, Julie (Dan) Kies, of Brownsville, MN, Susan (Matt) Bauer of Caledonia, MN, Sandra (Jan) Welscher of Caledonia, MN, Jackie (Devoine) Johnson of Caledonia, MN; 13 grandchildren; 3 great grandsons; a sister, Pam Gran of Rochester, MN, and a brother, Brian (John Genz) Schuldt of Onalaska, WI, and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Harry and Lois (Kumpf) Schuldt.
Visitation is from 5 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, August 17th at McCormick Funeral Home in Caledonia, MN with a prayer service at 7:30 pm. Memorial services will be Thursday, August 18th, at 12 p.m. at the United Methodist Church in Caledonia, with Rev. Mark Berngtson officiating and burial in Calvary Cemetery, Caledonia. Visitation will also be one hour prior to the service at the church Thurs.
